About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in e-commerce accounting, GST, TDS, and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and be comfortable independently managing day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial transactions.
Handle e-commerce accounting, including marketplace settlements, sales reconciliation, returns, refunds, and payment gateway reconciliation.
Perform bank, sales, purchase, and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare and manage GST returns and related compliances.
Handle TDS calculations, payments, returns, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of invoices, expenses, and vendor payments.
Coordinate with marketplaces, vendors, banks, and internal teams for financial reconciliations.
Assist in month-end closing, MIS reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely statutory compliance.
Support audits and provide required financial data and reports.
Requirements
2–3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Prior experience in e-commerce accounting is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
Experience with Tally / accounting software and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Someone who has previously handled accounting for an e-commerce/D2C business and understands marketplace operations, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and day-to-day financial management.
Salary: ₹4.8 LPA – ₹7.2 LPA, depending on experience and skill set.
