Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Most founders meet Expertbells through the website: they search for a mentor, compare profiles, pick a slot and pay. You will own that path end to end, from the first search result to the booking confirmation.

The stack is Next.js, React and TypeScript on the front, talking to a Node API. You will work with one designer and two backend engineers, and you will ship to production several times a week.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain the search, mentor profile, booking and checkout flows
• Keep pages fast on mid-range Android phones and patchy 4G connections
• Turn designs into reusable components in our design system
• Instrument flows so we can see where founders drop off, and fix it
• Review code and help set frontend conventions for the team

You may be a fit if

• You have shipped and maintained a production React app for 4+ years
• You write TypeScript you would be comfortable handing to someone else
• You care about loading performance and can measure it, not guess
• You build accessible forms and interactive components by default
• You are happy to talk to users when a metric looks wrong

Big plus

• Experience with the Next.js App Router and server components
• You have built payment flows with Razorpay or a similar gateway
