About the role
Every booking moves money three ways: the founder pays, we hold it, and the mentor is paid out after the session. Getting that right every week, with correct invoices and taxes, is what keeps mentors on the platform.
You will run these operations with our external CA firm and work with engineering to automate what is still manual.
What you'll do
- Run the weekly mentor payout cycle and resolve payout issues
- Reconcile payment gateway settlements against bookings and refunds
- Prepare data for GST and TDS filings with our CA firm
- Maintain the monthly close and management reports
- Work with engineering to automate reconciliation steps
You may be a fit if
- You have 1-3 years in finance operations, audit or accounting
- You are strong in Excel or Google Sheets
- You understand GST and TDS as they apply to service payments
- You check your own work before anyone else has to
Big plus
- CA Inter, CMA or a similar qualification
- Experience at a marketplace or payments company
